How It Works

Safe Translator uses on-device AI models for both speech recognition and translation:

Speech recognition is powered by Whisper, running locally on your device.
Translation is performed by a local LLM (Large Language Model).
After initial model download, the app works completely offline.
No internet connection is required for core functionality.

Network Usage

The app only uses network connectivity for:

Initial download of AI models (one-time, optional).

Once models are downloaded, the app functions entirely offline.

Third-Party Services

This app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Data Storage

All data (including AI models and app preferences) is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data by uninstalling the application.

Children's Privacy

This app does not collect any data and is safe for users of all ages.
